Covid 19 Scams - victim support leaflet

The Parish Council, Village Hall Trustees, Church and Chapel would urge everyone to take the information and advice on non essential travel and social distancing, coming from the Government in the current crisis, very seriously. This means, for those of us over 70 and/or with health issues, accepting help from others to avoid going out, even to get your shopping!

The Parish Council have left forms, in the shop, the Board Inn, the school reception and the hairdressers, for individuals to pick up if they are in a position to help someone vulnerable. The form should be completed with the helpers contact details and put through a neighbours' door so that they have contact details for someone in the village if they need any support either because they are vulnerable or self isolating.

While many of us are confined to our homes either because of vulnerability or self isolation, it is important that we use the means that we do have to stay in touch with each other. Skype, Facetime, Messenger, Whatsapp, text and good old phone calls are important while we are not afforded the normal face to face contacts each day. So phone a friend, even if they are next door!

Stay safe and healthy.
